Hierarchical control architecture of co-located hybrid power plants

چکیده

Utility-scale co-located hybrid power plants (HPPs) have received global attention due to enhanced controllability and efficient utilization of electrical infrastructure. While control mono-technology has been extensively studied over the past decades, HPP including sub-plants multiple technologies is yet be addressed. This paper fills such gap by proposing a novel hierarchical architecture for HPPs. Said contains four levels: asset level, plant level energy management system (EMS). The objective EMS generate optimal bidding strategies market participation, while execute real-time dispatch plans achieving expected targets regarding active energy. Attention paid interactions across different levels hierarchy, particularly between with level. Novel coordination are presented ensure all work together without counteracting against each other. Frequency fault ride-through employed as examples demonstrate coordination. • Design plants. Definition exchange variables hierarchy. Development controller relevant functions. Coordination avoiding counteraction. consideration stacked applications communication issues.

A Hierarchical Hybrid Architecture for Mission-Oriented Robot Control

In this work is presented a general architecture for a multi physical agent network system based on the coordination and the behaviour management. The system is organised in a hierarchical structure where are distinguished the individual agent actions and the collective ones linked to the whole agent network. Individual actions are also organised in a hybrid layered system that take advantages ...

Hierarchical Control Strategy of Heat and Power for Zero Energy Buildings including Hybrid Fuel Cell/Photovoltaic Power Sources and Plug-in Electric Vehicle

This paper presents a hierarchical control strategy for heat and electric power control of a building integrating hybrid renewable power sources including photovoltaic, fuel cell and battery energy storage with Plug-in Electric Vehicles (PEV) in smart distribution systems. Because of the controllability of fuel cell power, this power sources plays the main role for providing heat and electric p...

Hierarchical Control of Hybrid Systems

The topic of this contribution is the synthesis of hierarchical control systems for hybrid problems. We outline a method that is based on a hierarchy of models describing the plant at various levels of abstraction and a decomposition of the overall specification. The proposed method captures several key requirements for hierarchical control: it includes the notion of information aggregation bet...

Modelling and Control of Co-generation Power Plants under Consideration of Lifetime Consumption: a Hybrid System Approach

In this paper the load optimization of a combined cycle power plant under consideration of the real cost of lifetime usage is accomplished by exploiting hybrid systems, i.e., systems evolving according to continuous dynamics, discrete dynamics, and logic rules. The possibility of turning on/off the gas and steam turbines, the operating constraints (minimum up and down times) and the different t...

A Hybrid Architecture for Hierarchical Agents

This paper presents a hybrid multi-agent architecture called MAGIQUE 1. The aim of this architecture is to take advantage of both blackboard systems and autonomous agents. Our model contains several hierarchical control levels. It allows users modeling complex applications that involve interactions of sets of agents. For example in a multi-expert system, we can have a level for each logic used ...
